Korcula

Korcula
is considered to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, and history
and tradition are apparent when you walk along the paved streets
and squares of this lovely town. The city tour includes a
visit to cultural and historical monuments, such as the Treasury
of the Abbey, the City Museum, the Museum of Icons, as well
as other places of interest. During this tour there will be
a short break in the city wine celler for freshment.

Korcula

Drive across
the island of Korcula through a string of ancient settlements,
green vineyards, and olive groves and past virgin beaches.
A visit will be made to the town of Blato, the islands largest
settlement, and Vela Luka, founded even in prehistoric times.
Visit to the gallery "Sege". Our return drive takes
us via the small fishing villages of Grscica, Prizba and Brna.

Moreska

This swors
dance will take you back to the 15th century, to the period
of continous wars in the Mediterranean and the struggle between
Cross and Crescent. Today, Moreska is the only such dance
in the Mediterranean performed in its most attractive form.
Thirty dancers compete fiercely in a dance dangerous even
for experts to win the princess - Bula. While in Korcula,
dont miss the opportunity to enjoy this unique dance.

The
wine trail > - full day tour |

This trip
takes us from Korcula across the Peljesac Canal to Orebic
on the peninsula of Peljesac. We resume our drive by a comfortable
coach through vineyards and olive groves to Ponikve. Visit
the wine cellar of Milos family, where we shall taste a typical
local wine. Follows a visit to the Matusko family wine cellar
for another wine tasting. We proceed then to Prizdrina, where
a traditional welcome will be extented by the Bartulovic family.
Enjoy lunch in truly warm family ambience before our return
drive.

Riviera

Leaving
the town of Korcula behind, we sail towards the Korcula archipelago
consisting of some twenty islands and islets. Badija with
its 15th century monastery; Vrnik, famous for its two quarries
and Majsan with prehistoric remains, are among the best known
islands in the archipelago. Most of the islands are uninhabited,
boasting lush vegetation and a crystal clear sea. Sail takes
you to the town of Lumbarda in a picturesque cove, where summer
residences of former patrician families can be seen. Time
at leisure here for strolling and swimming.

Mljet
Island > - National Park - full day tour |

The island
of Mljet is one of the loveliest and most densely wooded islands
in the Adriatic. A part of the island has been declared a
national park, whose main attractions are two salt-water lakes
- Veliko Jezero i Malo Jezero (Great Lake and Small Lake).
Join a boat cruise on the Great lake for a view of the islet
with a 12th century Benedictine monastery. Enjoy a stroll
through lush pine woods or swim in the lovely salt-water lakes.

Lastovo
Island > - full day tour |

Lastovo
is an offshore island south of Korcula. Its dense vegetation,
the azure sea with countless islets and reefs, as well as
varied flora and fauna, make this island really unique. We
walk from Sv. Mihajlo (St. Michaels) port through the scenic
landscape to Lastovo, Islands largest settlement. Tour the
town before we resume our arriving to the Zaklopatica cove
for lunch and swimming. Return sail in the afternoon hours.

Dubrovnik

the Peljesac Peninsula, past the lovely wooded Elaphite Islands
to Dubrovnik, an ancient town surrounded by ramparts and fortresses.
This treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces,
scrupulosly preserved over the centuries, is also on UNESCOs
List of World Cultural Heritage. Sightseeing of the old city
with a local guide will show you the citys highlights, such
as churches, palaces, museums and squares.

Neretva

The Neretva
Delta is an area of vast marshland abundant in flora and fauna
sheltering hundreds of species of birdlife. Cruie in small
boats - "trupice" - through the canals to enjoy
the beauty and variety of the delta. Visit the Ornithological
Collection in the town Metkovic, preserving 229 exhibitis
of bird species. Visit the excavation of ancient Narona (today
a town of Vid) from 1st / 2nd centuries where ramparts, temples
and a forum have been covered by the mud fromthe river for
centuries.

Mostar

Take a
boat ride across the Peljesac Canal to the Peljesac peninsula
for a drive through vineyardes, olive groves and scenic villages.
Passing by the Ston and the oyster farm we reach the Adriatic
Road, and continue through the picturesque Neretva River delta.
We reach Mostar, the capital of Hercegovina, Where we will
be met by local guide for sightseeing of the old city. During
the Turkish rule, the city was an important trade centre.
A guided tour will show you the citys highlights, such as
the remains of the old stone bridge (1566), the Bazar, the
Mosque or tipical Turkish house. After the city tour time
at leisure for shopping and lunch. Upon departure from Mostar
short visit of Pocitelj - a picturesque town rich in oriental
architecture.
